AIRTAG was launched in 2006 by a dynamic team of experts in the  retail sector, emerging payment technologies, mobile payments and NFC solutions.

Since 2006 AIRTAG has grown to be a mid-sized start-up company of 50 people with a 2012 turnover of $6 million.  We have a headquarters in Châtillon, France and we recently opened an office in New York, NY but we work with companies all around the globe in industries including: Retail, Banking, Fast food and Telecommunications.

We consider ourselves a leader in innovation, as we currently holds 3 patents for technological solutions but our company vision is to continually work on new ideas and solutions that make people want to go shopping and advance the availability of NFC technology.

Because at AIRTAG we read a lot about technology and innovation, we launched our blog in 2007 as a way to share more information about our passion, NFC technology.

We see NFC technology as the way of the future, and we are delighted to be a part of it. We realize that this space is a work in progress, and are working to contribute more information more frequently.
