NFC et billettique au stade de France pour 2011

Le téléphone portable devrait remplacer dès 2011 le billet papier pour entrer dans deux stades français, le Stade de France (Saint-Denis) et le stade Malherbe de Caen, selon Orange qui porte le projet.
“On part du principe que le premier pas sera de dématérialiser le billet, le second pas sera d’y ajouter des services”, a indiqué à l’AFP Bertrand Pladeau, responsable chez Orange du développement des services “sans contact”. More >

Plus d’une vingtaine de restaurants McDonald’s testent actuellement le service GoMcDo, permettant de commander en ligne son menu. Dans la lignée du service McPass, présenté par Relaxnews en octobre 2009, GoMcDo est disponible pour une dizaine de points de vente en Ile-de-France, comme Créteil (Val de Marne) et l’Isle Adam (Val d’Oise), les précurseurs du système, mais aussi dorénavant en province, dans tous les restaurants niçois, par exemple. Commande en ligne avec GoMcDo

GoMcDo est le nouveau système de commande en ligne de McDonald’s, il reprend ce qui avait été entreprit avec McPass. Il est actuellement toujours en test mais accueille près de 25 restaurants :

U.S. Retailer Group: NFC Could Boost Store-Branded Cards

Near Field Communication could help give retailers a new edge in the “wallet-share war” they have been losing for years to banks and their open-loop payment card brands, according to a new report from the giant National Retail Federation.
The new opportunity for store cards and other lower-cost payment options is among the many observations in a just-released “Mobile Retailing Blueprint” from the federation, a retail trade association with 5,600 members.
The 176-page report, which was drafted by an industry committee formed by the federation’s technology standards arm, covers a range of mobile technologies available to retailers to enable consumers to find stores, download coupons, compare products and handle payment. More >
KDDI, Softbank Mobile and SK Telecom to introduce NFC standard services in Japan and Korea

The three mobile network operators are to move away from the non-NFC mobile contactless technologies they currently support in favour of an NFC standard solution.
Korean mobile network operator SK Telecom and Japanese operators KDDI and Softbank Mobile have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see the three companies working together to switch from their existing non-NFC standard mobile contactless services to an NFC standard approach. More >
HID enters NFC market

HID Global has partnered with Inside Contactless providing software so iCLASS credentials can be emulated on MicroRead NFC chips.
Tam Hulusi, senior vice president of strategic innovation and intellectual property at HID, says NFC technology hasn’t always been a sure thing but now it appears that a number of factors are coalescing to bring NFC to market. “NFC has been up and down the past few years,” he says. “Now everyone understands that NFC has to be supported by smart phones … and smart phones with higher bandwidth can make NFC a reality.” More >
Apple interested in offering instant product research via iPhone

By using near-field communications or a simple barcode scan, future iPhones could instantly obtain information about a range of products, whether it’s an electronic device on sale at a local store, or food on a restaurant’s menu.

06 juillet 2010 – le ministère de l’industrie souhaite promouvoir des territoires leader du sans contact mobile et choisit 12 projets ambitieux contribuant à la diffusion des nouveaux usages des technologies sans contact (RFID, NFC) et des objets communicants, auxquels il apporte un financement de 4,5 M€, sur un effort total de R&D de 12,5 M€, dans le cadre de l’appel à projets « Objets communicants et sans contact » IPER-SMSC Edition 2010.
